Sustainable agriculture / CEDAC - CFSI
In this area of Cambodia, inhabitants have to deal with a strong land hold.
The soils' poverty facilitated the excessive use of intrants for a while.
A lot of chickens are ill. Pigs are affected by cholera. The situation is alarming: malnutrition, debts contribute to the insulation of the farmers.
The introduction of a sustainable agriculture becomes an absolute priority.
Rice intensive culture, plots diversification, abolition of intrants...
This program aims to improve the yields and to provide food security to inhabitants.
The five principal agricultural innovations mainly concern: ecological poultry farms, intensive rice culture, multifonctional farms, green manure, ricefields sowing.
