Integrated water management with a participatory approach / Harvest
To rehabilitate the water table and preserve the resource from salination, the project tends to influence the natural milieu. The project includes works to provide rain water storage (retention basins, reservoirs, etc.) and to combat erosion to increase the renewal capacity of underground water sources.
Furthermore, in order to ensure the sustainability of the programme, intervention will also focus on reinforcing the capacities of farmers and the local population, providing training and conducting research operations.
