The aim of this project, which concerns two districts in the town of Kaolack, is to improve the supply of drinking water, sanitation, overall hygiene and public health, and therefore the environment. Actions include providing fifty latrines for the schools, installing water supply facilities with verification of water quality, and producing refuse containers, along with refuse collection and disposal. Furthermore, the project will establish public hygiene guidelines as a framework for the various practices.

37 cubicles and 4 drinking fountains have been restored or built.
282 m of outer walls have been built and 2 gates have been restored.
Several trainings on hygiene have been provided for teachers (148), directors of schools (20), pupills (44) and organizers (45).
A study has been led in 8 neighborhoods for the waste collection.
