Attention
Maximum contribution made by the Foundation to the total budget : 50%. The organisation proposing the programme is obliged to find other financial partners to make up the remaining amount. Maximum subsidy provided by Fondation Ensemble per programme: 300,000 €. Minimum investment by the Foundation : 40,000 € per annum. Proposals must correspond to the prequalification criteria
The Foundation is looking for programmes that will make a concrete and lasting improvement to the life of the target population.
Any project that is given support must contribute towards protecting the environment and rationalising the use of natural resources.
Projects must arise from specific findings that take account of the needs of local populations and the land.
The Foundation lends support to appropriate and concrete action, the results of which must be measurable. The Foundation is looking to support ongoing projects, and encourages innovation wherever possible.
The Foundation supports participatory and partnership programmes, involving all members of society. They must be implemented in conjunction with identified partners. They must encourage the emergence of or strengthen the abilities of those partners. The role of each partner is clearly defined.
The projects must clearly demonstrate that they are integrated within the national strategy of the country in which they take place.
The Foundation demands to see accurate details of the budget and expenditure involved. It agrees to cover 10% of all administrative costs.
Fondation Ensemble does not fund
Projects that do not fall within the areas of intervention outlined above.
One-off projects that are not of the lasting variety.
Awareness projects (in France and emerging countries) with no concrete and measurable activity.
Initiatives (in France and emerging countries) that do not make provision for measuring the anticipated impact/ expected results.
Projects that do not take account of protecting or restoring the environment.
Initiatives that do not earmark the bulk of their investment for concrete action.
Microcredit, workshops, conferences, ecotourism, educational packages (in France), study/research trips taken by students.
Applications for subsidies that include allocating more than to paying wages of expatriates.
Projects submitted by private individuals.
