Habitat improvement for families living in underprivileged areas / Enda OI
This project comprises three lines of intervention: First of all, improving the habitat, which requires information and personalized follow-up for families. Secondly, the building of latrines, which also involves accompanying families and raising their awareness/informing them. Lastly, the setting up of household waste collection, the implementation of which will be achieved in several phases (identification of housing areas, constitution of a management committee, choice of the collection system, awareness raising of the population, implementation of a selective sorting pilot experiment).
As this project is being run in conjunction with Handicap International, particular attention will be given to providing access to the installations for people with reduced mobility.
